Product Engineer – Rotor Repair (Gas Turbine)

About the role

GE Vernova Singapore Services is looking for a dynamic Product Engineer to lead rotor repair activities for high‑efficiency air‑cooled gas turbines. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will ensure timely service delivery to the regional market while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assess rotor component conditions and define repair scopes based on engineering requirements.
• Develop and maintain engineering work instructions and product/process qualifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, implement corrective actions, and lead root‑cause analyses.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to improve safety, quality, cycle time, and productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to introduce new repair methods.
• Support the Cell Leader in meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Power Engineering.
• Experience with gas turbine rotors, rotating machinery, or power‑generation equipment is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and technical communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional, dynamic environment.
