Product Engineering Industrial Engineer (Semiconductor)

About the role

Micron's Storage Technology and Product Group (STPG) is looking for a Product Engineering Industrial Engineer to join its Industrial Engineering team. The role sits at the intersection of product engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, analytics, program management and artificial intelligence, and acts as an end-to-end decision-enablement partner across the semiconductor product lifecycle. It also helps shape the group's future operating model through analytics, automation, AI and agentic workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new product introduction and product lifecycle execution, coordinating Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Program Management and Quality, and protecting customer and business milestones
• Optimize inventory strategy, visibility and utilization, and support inventory disposition, reuse, consolidation and recovery
• Improve cost and operational efficiency by reducing cycle time, inventory exposure, material waste and operating costs
• Support complex engineering and development programs, including advanced technology projects and future product platforms
• Lead cross-functional programs and change initiatives, aligning stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, planning, supply chain, quality and business teams
• Develop scalable processes, operating models, governance frameworks and business controls
• Collect, analyze and visualize data across engineering, manufacturing, planning and supply chain, building dashboards, KPIs, predictive analytics and decision-support tools
• Design and deploy AI-enabled applications, workflow automations and agentic solutions, and establish governance and change-management practices for them

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, planning, operations, analytics or related functions
• Experience supporting NPI, product lifecycle management, manufacturing operations, inventory management or operational excellence
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects, process improvements or business transformation initiatives
• Experience developing analytics solutions and dashboards
