Production Assistant

About the role

Plast Plastics is seeking a full‑time Production Assistant to support daily manufacturing operations on its Pioneer production floor. You will work on‑site, helping to set up workstations, prepare materials, and keep production running smoothly while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations and prepare raw materials for production runs.
• Monitor production processes to ensure schedules are met and safety procedures are followed.
• Perform basic quality checks, visual inspections, and measurement verification.
• Document production data, update job travelers, and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, machine operators, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and inventory organization.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or plastics is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, plastics, or a regulated industry (medical, semiconductor, aerospace) is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environment.
