Production Technician – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Technician (Technician 1) ensures smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and processes for a leading global medical technology company. You will monitor machine parameters, perform inspections, and support continuous production while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check and record machine or process parameters; take corrective actions to keep processes under control.
• Conduct sampling inspections according to quality plans and handle non‑conforming products.
• Perform minor troubleshooting, housekeeping, and cleaning of machines and work areas.
• Update machine PMS satellite with component lot numbers, shift output, waste, and downtime.
• Execute product/machine changeovers, including clearing previous lot parts, material changes, tool/die swaps, and data entry.
• Participate in daily shift changeover meetings and monthly performance reviews.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication of bearings, cleaning of ink pumps, and die maintenance.
• Assist Technical Specialists with major preventive maintenance and enhancement projects.
• Support ISO 14001 initiatives by promoting safety, health, and environmental practices.
