Programme Director – Talent Management

About the role

The CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Programme Director for Talent Management. The role leads a team responsible for identifying translational opportunities from cybersecurity research and matching talent with funded projects to strengthen Singapore’s national cyber capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate matchmaking among startups, academia, and industry to advance talent management initiatives.
• Oversee financial stewardship and budget allocation for all talent‑related projects, ensuring compliance with cost guidelines and institutional policies.
• Monitor project performance, milestones, deliverables, risk management and reporting to achieve high‑impact outcomes.
• Identify gaps, recommend enhancements and integrate lessons learned to improve programme effectiveness.
• Provide leadership, role clarity and professional development for the talent management team.
• Ensure strategic alignment of talent placement with CRPO’s mission to build national cybersecurity capabilities.
• Collaborate with other verticals to support smooth operations and meet key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in talent management, entrepreneurship, business management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a director‑level role with hands‑on responsibility for talent or programme management.
• Familiarity with translation management within a cybersecurity research context.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage project performance and deliver results.
