Programme Director, Techno-commercial/Marketing

About the role

NTUitive’s START Centre is seeking a Programme Director to lead its techno‑commercial and marketing activities. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will help shape the centre’s strategy, drive industry collaborations and support the upcoming Singapore Membrane Consortium (SG MEM).

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director on strategic planning to increase START’s financial self‑reliance.
• Identify and secure new industry projects and collaborations.
• Develop and implement competitive pricing models for industry engagements.
• Analyse and value START’s intellectual property portfolio.
• Provide backup support for the Managing Director as needed.
• Mentor technology leaders in preparing funding proposals, reviewing costs and timelines.
• Lead the operations of SG MEM from October 2026, leveraging relationships with its 30 paid industry members.
• Coordinate outreach activities for both START and SG MEM.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management, Engineering or Science (engineering knowledge a plus).
• Proven record of customer engagement, relationship management and techno‑commercial expertise.
• Experience in strategic planning, pricing, IP valuation and industry partnership development.
• Ability to mentor technical teams and manage multi‑stakeholder projects.
