Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect will lead the architectural design and delivery of projects, coordinating closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and high‑quality outcomes. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle from concept through handover, including permitting, authority submissions, and procurement preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and coordinate with project stakeholders to gather design and permitting inputs.
• Conduct site inspections and obtain authority clearances.
• Manage projects from initiation to handover, including authority submissions and procurement preparation.
• Prepare detailed design documentation and tender packages.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in schematic design, design development, tender documentation and project administration across varied scales and typologies, including industrial projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant project work.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Good team spirit and enthusiasm.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
