Project Controller (Junior Executive)

About the role

Lucky Joint Construction is seeking a proactive Project Controller to join its team on Jurong Island. This junior‑level position supports the delivery of telecommunication network projects by monitoring costs, schedules, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, actual expenditures, labour costs and claim milestones against approved baselines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports, cost forecasts and performance summaries.
• Manage project workflows, records and documentation using designated project management systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and objectives.
• Assist coordinators, engineers and site personnel in identifying and resolving operational or site‑related issues.
• Support Project Managers and Engineers in preparing quotations and tender submissions.
• Source materials, obtain supplier quotations and maintain competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Assist with procurement coordination and follow up on material orders and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in project cost control, project coordination or quantity surveying, preferably in civil or construction projects.
• Good understanding of project budgets, cost tracking, procurement and tender processes.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with site and office teams.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project management or documentation software.
