Project Engineer – ACMV

About the role

The Project Engineer – ACMV will support the Project Manager in delivering HVAC and ACMV projects across Singapore. This role involves coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with schedule development, monitoring and reporting of project progress.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation and testing & commissioning check sheets, and progress reports for ACMV works.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation, including drawings, material records and correspondence.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor cost control measures to meet financial objectives.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and clients on shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections and commissioning.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in chiller and air‑conditioning (ACMV/HVAC) projects in Singapore.
• Familiarity with local building codes, M&E contract requirements and commercial/A&A projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Heat load calculations.
• Duct static pressure calculations and duct system design.
• Chilled water pipe system design.
• Design and knowledge of chiller, cooling‑tower, VRV and MV systems.
