Project Engineer (Contract)

About the role

Gradiant International Holdings is looking for a Project Engineer on a contract basis to support the Project Manager in delivering engineering projects on Jurong Island, Singapore. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing schedules, and ensuring technical specifications are met while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Engineering Manager and engineers from mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines.
• Develop and maintain accurate engineering documents, deliverables and project status reports.
• Interact with clients to capture requirements, address concerns and translate needs into actionable plans.
• Define project phases, assign personnel, review contractor bids and manage vendor specifications, material take‑offs and deliveries.
• Control project budget, monitor progress, resolve issues and update the project schedule as needed.
• Maintain project databases and ensure data backup and integrity.

Required profile

• Strong technical, organisational and communication abilities related to project management.
• Experience with pump specifications, skid design, piping, heat exchangers, filtration systems and material selection for varying process chemistries.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external vendors.
