Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join Lam Chuan Construction, a leading civil engineering contractor in Singapore. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination and supervision of infrastructure and road works projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and coordinating construction activities for civil infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, safety performance and quality compliance on site.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, shop drawings and project documentation.
• Support the supervision of earthworks, road upgrading and utility works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
