Project Engineer / Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer / Site Engineer to lead the installation and commissioning of mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems for data centre projects. The role involves managing the full commissioning cycle, ensuring compliance with Singapore EMA standards, and coordinating activities across Singapore and Malaysia sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute commissioning plans, procedures and schedules for high‑ and low‑voltage electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generator sets and HVAC systems.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and resolve technical issues during pre‑commissioning, commissioning and final hand‑over.
• Lead testing and validation of M&E systems to meet project specifications, regulatory requirements and operational standards.
• Supervise commissioning personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to HSE and quality requirements.
• Track progress, prepare reports and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Travel to Malaysia frequently and be stationed on‑site as required.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
• Diploma or higher in electrical engineering or a related STEM field.
• Official Singapore EMA electrical qualification and a valid LOC electrical professional certificate.
• Experience in installation and commissioning of high‑ and low‑voltage electrical equipment, distribution cabinets, transformers, generator sets, or HVAC systems.
