Project Intern (Engineering Support)

About the role

Hitachi Rail Singapore, which develops rail signalling and safety solutions, is looking for a Project Intern (reference R0146710) based in Central Singapore. The intern supports engineering activities on a project, working full time and on site.

Key responsibilities

• Generate documents and reports
• Handle correspondence with internal and external parties
• Support the engineering team in producing calculations, drawings, documents and other project files
• Coordinate and monitor project tasks and actions
• Use software tools and applications for project purposes
• Support the project in other suitable tasks

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering
• Detail-oriented

Required skills

• Basic coding or programming skills (e.g. C++, Python)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including macros
