Project Management Intern

About the role

This internship reports to the Project Operations Manager and gives hands-on experience supporting the execution of engineering and service projects within ABB Motion Services. You will work with Project Managers and cross-functional teams on project planning, documentation, reporting and coordination, and contribute to project tracking and process improvement. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with project schedules, milestone tracking, progress monitoring and project performance reporting.
• Maintain project documentation, records and reports so they are accurate, organised and aligned with customer and ABB requirements.
• Support project administration such as invoicing follow-up, data entry, status updates and sharing information among stakeholders.
• Help identify improvements, monitor deliverables and support compliance with ABB's safety, quality and operational standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, able to manage several tasks and prioritise.
• Interest in project management, engineering operations, planning, scheduling and business process improvement.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, proactive approach in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
