Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Asia Labs is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects on‑site across Southeast Asia. The role involves ensuring quality, safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site project execution, manage schedules and ensure work meets specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, workers and vendors to maintain smooth progress.
• Conduct and oversee site testing such as concrete, soil and waterproofing to verify compliance.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to uphold high‑quality standards throughout all phases.
• Inspect façade works for safety, alignment and regulatory compliance, identify defects and coordinate rectifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, providing timely technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection records and progress updates.
• Enforce site safety protocols, conduct safety briefings and monitor conditions.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities for inspections, approvals and communications.
• Participate in coordination meetings to ensure effective stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and coordinating civil engineering projects on‑site.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, workers and vendors effectively.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and safety regulations.
