Project Manager - Corporate Real Estate Fit-Out

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries and majority-owned by CBRE Group, is hiring a Project Manager for corporate real estate fit-out projects in Singapore. The role covers construction projects from concept to completion, working autonomously and as part of a team within PM guidelines and the PM toolkit.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver construction projects from concept to completion, managing internal and external stakeholders, consultants and contractors.
• Manage design development, coordination, reviews and approvals during planning and construction phases.
• Handle procurement, including review of trade tender packages, and appoint and manage contractors while maintaining probity requirements.
• Administer contracts, including progress claims, variations, extensions of time and documentation.
• Monitor completion activities such as commissioning, handover, take-over and defects.
• Prepare project programmes, monitor costs against the approved budget and report actual performance against the programme.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure works are authorised, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and quality assurance regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial office, retail or showroom fit-out projects internationally.
• Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
