Site Manager – IT Infrastructure (1-Year Contract)

About the role

An established technology solutions provider specialising in automation, artificial intelligence, access control and large-scale infrastructure projects is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 1-year contract. The role supports the next phase of a major infrastructure and technology installation project, overseeing daily site activities, maintaining high safety and quality standards and ensuring works are completed on schedule. The work is based in the west of Singapore, with company transport provided at a designated point.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works and M&E site activities, keeping to project specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and in-house workers, monitoring progress, workmanship and performance.
• Enforce site safety requirements and make sure everyone follows safety procedures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks, identify defects and coordinate corrective action.
• Identify project risks, site issues and drawing discrepancies and resolve them with stakeholders.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and alignment with site needs.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and explain their implications to support the Project Manager's decisions.
• Propose value-engineering solutions to improve delivery, quality and cost efficiency.
• Arrange permits in advance, prepare site reports, drawings and project documentation, and liaise with architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Manager with project changes and communicate updates to the team.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of site experience in IT infrastructure within the construction industry.
• Experience supporting government projects is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills, with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of 3D SolidWorks is an advantage.

• Remuneration package of up to S$9,000 per month.
