Project Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

HDR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Building Engineering Services (BES) team in Singapore. You will lead end‑to‑end delivery of singular data‑centre projects, ensuring they meet strategic business objectives and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of data‑centre projects – planning, design, construction, and close‑out.
• Collaborate with clients to define scope, resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality controls and risk registers.
• Define delivery resources, run RFP processes, evaluate bids and recommend solutions.
• Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client standards.
• Direct the delivery team, create action plans, track progress and report status, variances and risks.
• Identify threats, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and ensure data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 7‑10 years of relevant experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Professional designations such as LEED AP, PMP and/or CCM are preferred.
• Experience in MEP for data‑centre environments is advantageous.
• Strong judgment, analytical ability and an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced organizational and mathematical skills for financial calculations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
• Knowledge of LEED AP, PMP and CCM certification standards (if held).
