Project Manager - Government Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Project Manager in Singapore to lead the execution of construction and workplace projects for government clients. The role ensures alignment with time, cost, quality and performance objectives, manages project teams, coordinates stakeholders and maintains effective project governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and support project success criteria covering time, cost, quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Monitor project finances against budgetary targets with the project quantity surveyor team.
• Manage change control processes and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Maintain project governance, processes and systems, and prepare formal project progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health and environmental standards.
• Act as key point of contact for clients and consultants, identify new business opportunities and capture project learnings in internal knowledge systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience managing data centre and electrical substation projects.
• Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
