Project Manager (Interior Design)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager to lead interior design and fit‑out projects from inception to handover. You will bridge creative concepts with flawless execution, managing site operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams while serving as the main liaison for clients, contractors, and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interior fit‑out projects from site handover through defect liability period, maintaining strict schedules and critical path milestones.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring design integrity, high‑quality craftsmanship, and compliance with local building and fire safety codes.
• Manage project P&L, track expenditures, handle procurement, vendor negotiations, and progress payment claims.
• Assess, document, and manage Variation Orders (VOs) and extension‑of‑time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with clients, landlords, internal design teams, sub‑contractors, MEP consultants, and suppliers; facilitate weekly coordination meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Implement and enforce strict site safety protocols and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards, conduct final inspections, and manage punch‑list rectifications.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Interior Design, or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience in interior design or commercial fit‑out.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities under high‑pressure site conditions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Project.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD.
• Strong skills in MS Excel.
