Project Manager - Residential Construction

About the role

An established construction firm delivering high-quality residential projects across Singapore is hiring a Project Manager. You will take full ownership of assigned projects from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring progress, quality, cost and client satisfaction are managed to the highest standard. You will work closely with sub-contractors, consultants and relevant authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with sub-contractors, consultants and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution
• Oversee on-site trades, including structural, architectural, building, mechanical and electrical (M&E) and interior fitting-out works
• Take end-to-end accountability for project progress, quality, cost control and client relations
• Prepare and review project correspondence such as progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
• Monitor contractor input and performance so that projects meet schedule and budget
• Oversee defects rectification and improvement works on completed projects
• Implement and maintain quality, safety and environmental management systems in line with regulatory and company requirements

Required profile

• Degree in Building, Civil Engineering or Architecture with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience in residential building projects; or a Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying with at least 15 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated track record managing residential projects such as landed properties or condominiums
• SCDP or CCPP certification is an advantage
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and trades simultaneously
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to site issues
