Project Manager – Retail Applications (POS)

About the role

The Singapore Tech and Digital Solutions team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead retail application initiatives, particularly around Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver technology projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Coordinate internal IT teams and external vendors/consultants for effective execution.
• Manage local and regional service providers, monitor quality, and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Support hyper‑care phases and transition completed projects to operational support teams.
• Lead initiatives such as new boutique site setups and hardware replacement projects.
• Drive remediation of security risks identified through assessments and communicate escalations to stakeholders.
• Assist broader TDS team with ad‑hoc initiatives and operational support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in project or service delivery management within IT.
• Hands‑on experience with POS or Point‑of‑Sale systems.
• Background in IT management or consulting, preferably in a multinational retail environment.
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects and managing vendors or consultants.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
