About the role

The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is recruiting a Project Officer for Intelligent Manufacturing. The role involves researching Industrial AI, developing novel AI methods, preparing project plans and requirements, and supporting the research group.

Key responsibilities

Perform research on Industrial AI and develop novel AI methods
Prepare project plans and project requirements
Gather domain knowledge and formalize it
Write research documentation, ideas and publications
Mentor students and other researchers, where applicable
Develop and implement the long-term research agenda

Required profile

Master's degree in a relevant field (Information Systems and Engineering) or equivalent advanced research experience with a proven research track record in the specified domain
Bachelor's degree considered with relevant work experience
Practical experience and deep domain knowledge in relevant Industrial AI sectors

The position is based physically in Singapore. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
