Project Planner – Construction & Process Industry

About the role

The Planner will develop, maintain and control detailed project schedules for construction and process‑industry projects. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure that all phases—from tender to handover—are accurately planned and monitored.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, covering all project stages.
• Create work breakdown structures, activity logic, milestones and critical paths for building, civil, foundation and maintenance works.
• Prepare daily to monthly resource deployment plans, compare planned versus actual usage and recommend levelling actions.
• Collect actual progress, produce daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, and analyse schedule variance.
• Maintain delay records, support EOT claims and prepare recovery schedules.
• Coordinate tender programmes, review drawings and specifications, and ensure proper sequencing during site execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, Diploma or Nitec in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3–6 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction or process industry.
• Ability to read construction drawings and translate scope into practical activity sequences.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
