About the role

Fong Lee Metal is hiring a full-time Project Planner. The role centres on planning and monitoring production schedules so that order deadlines are met, and keeping customers informed throughout the order cycle.

Key responsibilities

Develop and monitor the production schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
Work with relevant departments to keep order flow smooth and resolve any issues.
Keep customers up to date on the progress of their orders.
Communicate with customers about order queries as and when required.
Coordinate customer inspection, delivery and collection arrangements.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

Required skills

Ability to interpret BOMs and technical drawings.
Good knowledge of process operation sequences.
