Property Management General Manager

About the role

The Property Management General Manager oversees the overall management, operations, maintenance, financial performance, and strategic direction of a diverse property portfolio. The role ensures efficient management, regulatory compliance, and high standards of service for owners, tenants, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute property management strategies, operational plans, and service standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintenance programs, and emergency response procedures.
• Manage financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Ensure buildings and facilities are maintained, complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Handle regulatory compliance, licensing, insurance, and dispute resolution.
• Lead vendor procurement, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Mentor and develop property management teams, set performance objectives, and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 10‑15 years of property/facilities management experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience managing large residential, commercial, industrial or mixed‑use portfolios.
• Strong financial management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance background.
