Psychologist Associate (CDU), Paediatrics (Contract)

About the role

The National University Health System (NUHS) is hiring a Psychologist Associate (Contract) to support the Child Development Unit (CDU) of the Department of Paediatrics. The associate provides psychological services such as administering and scoring psychometric assessments, helping with parent talks and running group programmes, and takes part in a funded research study.

Key responsibilities

• Research study: administer questionnaires and assessments, score tests, clean and maintain data, manage study equipment and ensure protocol and regulatory compliance; help coordinate studies and support other team members.
• Clinical services: administer and interpret psychometric and developmental assessments, document findings in the medical record system and write assessment reports.
• Propose recommendations in consultation with the supervising psychologist and help deliver psychological interventions and group programmes.
• Help prepare and run parent talks, distribute screening questionnaires to parents, follow up on them and upload completed documents into the clinical management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
• Graduates with relevant internship or volunteer experience in special needs, or prior experience working with children.
• Experience in research projects.
• Proactive, motivated to provide high-quality patient care, good interpersonal skills, and able to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
