Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will support the Project Manager in delivering a comprehensive public‑relations programme for construction projects across Singapore. The role involves managing community communications, handling feedback, and ensuring the public is well informed about construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Report to and assist the Project Manager on the public‑relations programme aligned with the master work plan.
• Manage public feedback and complaints, providing full support on press and PR matters related to the contract.
• Distribute advance notice materials such as pamphlets and letters approved by authorities before work commences.
• Brief residents, occupiers and nearby stakeholders on construction impacts before each stage.
• Arrange and attend PR‑related meetings with the project team as needed.
• Publish work schedules for road closures and traffic diversions in advance to minimise inconvenience.
• Provide periodic updates and disseminate information to the public about construction progress.
• Prepare monthly reports summarising feedback, complaints and actions taken.
• Promote and maintain positive relationships with the public throughout the construction period.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in any field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Public Relations Officer in the construction industry.
• Willingness to work in the East area of Singapore.
