Purchaser - Construction / ACMV / Electrical

About the role

Fuku is hiring a Purchaser for its Construction, Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and Electrical projects in Singapore. The role covers sourcing, evaluating and procuring M&E materials, equipment and services in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and purchase M&E materials, equipment and services according to project needs.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate price, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams so materials arrive on schedule.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries and any discrepancies.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and look for new sourcing opportunities.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management review.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when needed.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction or M&E industry.
• Experience purchasing M&E materials is preferred.
• Good knowledge of M&E products, suppliers and the local construction market.
• Able to work independently and manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with good organisational and problem-solving skills.

What we offer

• Salary range of $2,800 to $4,000.
• Performance-based bonus of 0-20% per month (PRP).
• Medical allowance of 2% per month.
