Purchasing Excellence Analyst (1 Year Contract)

About the role

An established global consumer goods organisation is seeking a Purchasing Excellence Analyst for a 1-year contract in Singapore. Reporting to the regional procurement team, the role supports regional procurement excellence initiatives across Asia, turning complex data into actionable business insights on purchasing performance, supplier management and strategic sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing and supplier data to identify savings opportunities, spending trends and sourcing efficiencies
• Develop and maintain procurement performance dashboards and management reporting
• Track supplier performance through scorecards, KPI monitoring and data analysis
• Conduct cost modelling, pricing analysis and total cost of ownership assessments
• Monitor market factors such as raw material pricing, tariffs and cost movements
• Contribute to procurement process improvement and standardisation across markets
• Partner with regional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, data governance and decision-making

Required profile

• 3 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analysis, business intelligence or a related field
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline
• Strong analytical capability with experience handling large and complex datasets
• Knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management and cost analysis methodologies
• Stakeholder management skills, highly organised and able to manage recurring reporting cycles

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including data modelling, Power Query and pivot tables
• Power BI, Tableau, Dynamics 365 or similar business intelligence and visualisation tools
