Python Developer – Automation & API Integration

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a motivated Python Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services. You will work on automation for loan processing, KYC/AML workflows, and integration with Copilot Studio agents, contributing to the company’s AI‑driven transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build Python automation for loan, KYC/AML processes and hand‑offs.
• Support integration with Copilot Studio agents and related testing, tuning, and deployment activities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality Python applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and external systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Python coding, custom code, integrations, APIs, backend automation, and orchestration extending the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in Python and object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
