Python, SQL and Databricks Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Data Engineer / Analytics Specialist with at least three years of hands‑on experience. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines while delivering actionable insights that influence business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources using SQL and scripting languages.
• Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models with Python or R.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Looker, Databricks or similar tools.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency through validation and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Present technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and work independently when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in data engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Strong programming background in Python and/or R.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data‑visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Looker or Databricks.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and their practical application.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
