QA Inspector – Dimensional Quality Assurance

About the role

As a QA Inspector at NTS Singapore you will ensure the dimensional accuracy and overall quality of sheet metal, precision‑machined and fabricated components throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in‑process, first‑article and final dimensional inspections on various components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications and GD&T requirements to define inspection criteria.
• Operate and program CMM and/or FARO measurement equipment, generate inspection reports and dimensional layouts.
• Identify, document and segregate non‑conforming materials, initiate NCR/NCMR processes and communicate findings.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation, calibration records and compliance with 5S and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently in a quality‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments: Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, pin gauges, surface plates.
• Hands‑on experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or FARO measurement systems.
• Sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards.
