QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

The QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst ensures that software applications meet defined quality standards before release. You will validate functionality, usability, performance, and security through structured testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineers to investigate issues and confirm fixes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance standards.
• Support continuous delivery by ensuring stable, reliable software releases.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases and plans.
• Knowledge of both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
