QA/QC Technician – Cable Testing & Inspection

About the role

The QA/QC Technician will ensure the quality and reliability of electric cable products through rigorous testing and inspection. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical testing of cables and accessories using standard equipment.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections and record results in SAP QM.
• Generate acceptance test reports and summarize monthly inspection status.
• Carry out incoming inspections, release inspection lots in SAP, and track supplier corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with international cable testing standards and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Support customers with technical enquiries, test data, and complaint resolution.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as calipers, VisioCable Pro, tensile machines, IR testers, and high‑voltage testers.

Required profile

• ITE Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical/electronic product testing (fresh graduates welcome).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP QM module.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical cable testing equipment.
• Knowledge of cable testing standards and procedures.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
