Qlik Architect – Banking

About the role

We are looking for a senior Qlik Architect to lead the design and delivery of a domain‑driven Qlik architecture for a regulated banking environment. The role involves building a central data model, ensuring security across multiple countries and business units, and guiding a team of Qlik developers from design through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a central Qlik data model with consolidated QVD layers and independently deployable subject‑area apps.
• Define and maintain Section Access and row‑level security for country, business unit, customer segment and function.
• Optimize reload and app performance at billions‑of‑rows scale and push transformation logic to the data warehouse using SQL on Teradata, Trino and Impala.
• Lead Qlik re‑architecture or migration projects, conduct design reviews and mentor developers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of BI experience, including at least 3 years with Qlik and 6 years in the banking sector.
• Relevant certifications such as Qlik Sense Data Architect, Qlik Sense System Administrator or Microsoft PL‑300 (preferred).

Required skills

• Qlik Sense Enterprise, Qlik Cloud, QMC, scripting, incremental loads and ODAG.
• SQL expertise on Teradata, Trino/Impala, and data‑warehouse integration.
• Qlik NPrinting, Qlik Automate, Engine and Capability APIs.
• Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Row‑Level Security and semantic modelling.
