Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Department is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support our Quality Management System and supplier management activities. You will work closely with the Quality Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure that purchased materials meet our high standards and that our suppliers continuously improve.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier onboarding, selection, and approval, including facility visits, audits, and quality agreement reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions through the SCAR system.
• Support new supplier and material qualification, ensuring all documentation is complete and standards are met.
• Implement inspection standards for incoming and outgoing goods and close CAPA, non‑conformance, and customer complaint reports.
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, conduct root‑cause analysis, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 documentation (manuals, procedures, work instructions, forms) and ensure readiness for audits.
• Plan and execute internal and external audits, review findings, and develop continuous‑improvement action plans.

Required profile

• Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience handling audits and ISO documentation in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, ISO 22301).
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R), 8D and 5W problem‑solving methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and detail‑orientation.
