Quality Control Executive (Food Safety)

About the role

The Quality Control Executive will oversee food safety and hygiene standards within our manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. This role is pivotal in maintaining product quality and safeguarding consumer trust.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all food safety and hygiene activities meet statutory requirements and company policies.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs, work instructions, and operational standards to satisfy SFA, Halal, HACCP/EU, and FSSC criteria.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions for factory non‑conformances and assess their effectiveness.
• Verify that material, process, and product specifications are met before production begins.
• Organise and deliver GMP, food safety, and CCP/OPRP training to factory staff.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects aimed at sustaining food safety and quality.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemical Process Technology, or a related field.
• Willingness to work full‑time in a production environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with initiative.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SFA (Singapore Food Agency) regulations.
• Understanding of Halal certification requirements.
• Experience with HACCP/EU food safety standards.
• Familiarity with FSSC 22000 certification.
• Good practice in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Competence in CCP and OPRP management.
