Quality Control Test Engineer – Up to $4000 (Woodlands)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Test Engineer to join our Woodlands facility. The role focuses on testing and validating control boards, Bond Head units and related machine functions to ensure product reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing for control boards, Bond Head and machine functional testing.
• Execute machine buy‑off, test calibration, ESD testing, heater validation and temperature tuning.
• Manage RMA processes, conduct failure analysis and investigate quality issues on PCBA, motors and electronic components.
• Support transfer of new machines, parts and features from R&D to production.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, QC checklists and test specifications.
• Analyse test results and field feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct internal and external audits and prepare QC, 8D and failure analysis reports.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, quality standards and manufacturing procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Certified ISO Internal Auditor.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, computer hardware, logic gates and semiconductor testing.

Required skills

• Hands‑on ESD testing.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes and digital testers.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment; die bonder experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform failure analysis and support quality improvement activities.
