Quality Engineer – QA/QC & Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to develop, implement and continuously improve our Quality Management System, perform inspections, and support production on the shop floor in a fast‑growing precision plastic injection moulding company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related procedures.
• Perform incoming, in‑process and final inspections using SmartScope, CMM and other precision measuring instruments.
• Analyse quality data, identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Investigate quality issues, work with production to resolve root causes and prepare inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance and other documentation.
• Support customer audits, supplier quality activities and ISO compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).
• Train and coach production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintain accurate quality records and provide shop‑floor support to meet delivery commitments.
• Contribute ideas to improve productivity, quality and manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of QA/QC experience in plastic injection moulding or precision manufacturing.
• Good understanding of injection moulding processes and manufacturing quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001; knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 is an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret dimensional tolerances.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
