Quantity Surveyor – ACMV & A&A Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage all financial aspects of ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) and A&A (Alteration & Addition) construction projects. You will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, contract negotiation and ongoing cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ACMV and A&A projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications and drawings to determine project costs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and propose value‑engineering solutions.
• Prepare and submit tender documents and competitive bid proposals.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor and manage project financial performance throughout construction.
• Produce progress reports and financial statements for clients.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Resolve disputes or claims related to project costs.
• Provide cost‑related advisory support to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Understanding of risk management and industry regulations.
