Quantity Surveyor – Façade Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for façade projects. You will be involved from the early tender stage through to project close‑out, ensuring financial control and risk mitigation throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost plans for façade tender projects, covering materials, labour, equipment, overheads and contingencies.
• Prepare and submit tender documentation and actively participate in the tendering process.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients to achieve fair and balanced agreements.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could affect cost, quality or schedule.
• Monitor actual costs against the cost plan, flag overruns and propose corrective actions.
• Manage variations, assess their cost and time impact, and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor progress claims, issue payment certificates and settle final accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in façade construction cost management.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Preferably fluent in Mandarin for communication with Chinese colleagues.
