Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support the project team by managing cost control, contract administration and procurement activities across both public and private construction projects in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to sites for meetings, on‑site measurements and data collection.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs and participate in tender processes for private and public projects.
• Assess and submit monthly progressive claims, recommend subcontractors’ progress payments, and certify work progress.
• Administer contracts, evaluate variations for main and subcontract works, and prepare related documentation.
• Manage correspondence, meeting minutes, and variation orders for main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop method statements and work procedures, and coordinate with consultants and safety personnel.
• Handle subcontract award processes, source and purchase materials, and finalise main and subcontract final accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of local construction industry experience.
• Familiarity with public and private Conditions of Contract used in Singapore.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities, with a meticulous and analytical approach.
