Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The role involves managing cost estimation, tender processes and contract administration across a variety of projects, ensuring financial control and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions and pricing strategies for construction, A&A and FM projects.
• Review tender documents, specifications and drawings to identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Source, evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Manage post‑tender clarifications, contract award documentation and contract administration including variations, claims and payments.
• Prepare and assess progress claims, payment responses and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and statutory requirements such as the SOP Act.
• Support dispute resolution and contract negotiations when required.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or a related discipline.
• Experience in tendering and contract administration for construction, A&A or FM projects.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as PSSCOC, SIA or NEC.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
