Quantity Surveyor

About the role

THI Engineering & Construction is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support its structural steel building projects. You will be responsible for managing progress claims, tendering processes and coordinating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage progress claims and quantity take‑offs for accurate tendering.
• Coordinate tender submissions to secure construction contracts.
• Conduct meetings with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to align requirements and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor and control project budgets to meet financial targets.
• Apply knowledge of structural steel building processes to oversee project execution.
• Manage work schedules and resources to optimise workflow and delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in structural steel building construction projects.
• Familiarity with BCA codes and related regulations.
• Understanding of tender, contract, document, specification and terms of contract.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
