R&D/Product Visual Design Expert

About the role

The company is seeking a visual design specialist to lead the creation and maintenance of visual, typography, and design standards for tire sidewalls and tread patterns across its global R&D network. You will work closely with internal R&D teams, mould manufacturers and external design partners to ensure high‑quality, consistent visual output.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain visual, typography, and design standards for tire sidewalls and tread patterns.
• Review design outputs for consistency, quality and compliance with international standards.
• Support pattern design teams with visual adjustments, typography and graphic solutions.
• Collaborate with international graphic design firms to create proprietary typefaces and visual assets.
• Provide technical guidance, training and oversight to strengthen graphic design capabilities within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of graphic design experience in publishing, advertising or a professional design agency.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience using Rhino and/or CAD software.
• Strong typography, typesetting and layout skills.
