Regional Engineering Program Lead – APAC

About the role

JLL is recruiting a Regional Engineering Program Lead for its APAC portfolio. The role provides strategic and operational engineering leadership, ensuring the safe, compliant, reliable and efficient operation of building services, infrastructure and critical engineering systems. It reports to the Global Engineering Lead, works closely with the Account Director and oversees regional project delivery, including the Regional Projects Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional engineering teams, ensure staffing levels and technical competencies, and drive global engineering standards, operational procedures and technical governance across all locations.
• Ensure building services and critical infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generators, HV/LV systems) operate and are maintained effectively, and drive compliance and assurance programs against statutory requirements, local regulations and client standards.
• Maintain PPM at a target of 95% completion by month-end and manage reactive maintenance within agreed service levels; act as the regional escalation point for engineering issues.
• Oversee specialist service providers and ensure emergency response plans, switching protocols and contingency arrangements are in place.
• Lead asset management: keep asset data and equipment records accurate, improve CMMS usage and reporting, and run reliability and lifecycle strategies including condition assessments and risk-based maintenance.
• Develop and maintain a rolling five-year capital asset replacement plan and give engineering input to capital investment, technical specifications and project justifications.
• Support energy efficiency, sustainability and environmental performance initiatives aligned with client objectives.
• Oversight of regional project delivery: coordinate technical and non-technical projects, review business cases, scopes, budgets and schedules, monitor milestones, costs, quality and risks, and ensure commissioning and handover.
• Partner with the Account Director and account leadership, report on compliance, asset reliability, risks and capital planning, and support budget planning, cost optimisation and financial forecasting.
