Regional Finance Manager – Manufacturing MNC

About the role

The client is a multinational manufacturing company seeking a Regional Finance Manager to support ongoing transformation projects. The position is based in the Central area of Singapore and offers a strategic partnership role with subsidiary business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic finance business partner to subsidiary leaders, providing commercial insights beyond traditional finance functions.
• Lead development and implementation of Finance & Accounting initiatives aligned with the Group’s mid‑term plans and regional objectives.
• Establish and maintain consistent Finance & Accounting policies, processes, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Division to ensure Group policies are effectively implemented across the region.
• Oversee finance‑related strategic projects such as acquisitions, spin‑offs, mergers, joint ventures and other restructuring initiatives.
• Provide financial controllership and oversight across Finance, Treasury and Order Management, ensuring operational effectiveness and strong governance.
• Review financial statements, management reports and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity and statutory compliance.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, management reporting and planning processes, delivering analysis to support decision‑making.
• Manage year‑end audit, impairment assessments and audit matter resolutions.
• Develop tax strategies, ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing requirements.
• Oversee treasury and liquidity management, including cash flow, FX, debt and capital management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, including tax, audit and treasury exposure.
• Proven strategic planning and management experience, with familiarity in accounting, tax, audit and treasury functions.
