Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will lead the finance function for multiple APAC entities within a well‑established multinational. This senior position reports to senior leadership and partners with regional finance teams to ensure robust financial control and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial control and month‑end close for all APAC entities.
• Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance across each jurisdiction.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies and governance frameworks.
• Partner with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders on financial matters.
• Oversee cash‑flow planning, inter‑company activities and working‑capital management.
• Drive process improvements across systems, reporting and controls.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing regional finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of finance experience with regional exposure, including early career experience in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and APAC tax environments.
• Proven experience in financial control, compliance and governance.
• Ability to work hands‑on while influencing senior stakeholders.
• Track record of leading, coaching and developing finance professionals.
