Credit Management Officer – Singapore

About the role

The Credit Management Officer reports to the Head of Finance and functionally to the Head of Group Credit Management at ATR headquarters. The role provides credit management support to ATR Eastern Support in Singapore, managing financial risk, liaising with customers and commercial departments, and ensuring compliance with ATR Group credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Update approved customer credit lines and maintain accounts in SAP.
• Release customer orders based on assessment of overdue invoices, maturity and credit usage.
• Ensure administrative bank guarantees such as letters of credit are renewed on time.
• Track incoming payments, post them to customer accounts, and apply them to outstanding invoices according to customer instructions.
• Apply credit notes to invoices and clear invoices with appropriate references.
• Produce monthly customer account statements and provide them on request.
• Obtain customer financial statements for solvency and credit‑risk assessment.
• Communicate with customers to secure on‑time payments via email or video calls.
• Follow up overdue invoices diplomatically and persuade payment.
• Initiate and monitor advanced payment arrangements such as cash‑on‑delivery.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on credit‑related tasks.
• Experience in credit management and credit‑risk assessment.
• Familiarity with ATR Group credit management policy.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
